THE STORY

Loma Centro is one of Elida Estate's newer, wilder plots — planted entirely with Geisha and tucked partly inside Baru Volcano National Park at close to 1,800 metres. This lot goes through Elida's Cold Room Drying (CRD) natural process: whole cherries dried slow and steady in a climate-controlled room, turned often to keep fermentation funk in check while sweetness builds in the bean. The result is loud and fruit-forward without tipping into mess. In the cup: magnolia, apricot, fruit candy, navel orange, with a juicy body and a bright, candied finish.
